1. Purpose

KMC may use artificial intelligence ("AI"), automated systems, algorithms or similar technologies to support aspects of its recruitment platform.

  • profile categorisation;

  • vacancy categorisation;

  • search;

  • recommendations;

  • administrative tasks;

  • communication;

  • website assistance;

  • identifying potentially relevant recruitment opportunities.

2. AI does not make final employment decisions

AI tools used by KMC are intended to support recruitment processes.

An AI-generated recommendation does not mean that a candidate is qualified, suitable, eligible, registered or guaranteed employment.

Final recruitment decisions are made by the relevant employer.

Professional registration decisions are made by the relevant regulator.

Immigration decisions are made by the relevant immigration authority.

3. AI may be inaccurate

AI systems can produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated or misleading information.

KMC does not represent that AI-generated information will always be accurate.

Users should independently verify important information.

4. Candidate matching

Where AI is used to support matching, KMC may consider information such as:

  • professional role;

  • specialty;

  • experience;

  • qualifications;

  • location;

  • stated preferences;

  • vacancy requirements;

  • other relevant profile information.

A match is an indication that a candidate and vacancy may be relevant to each other. It is not a professional assessment or guarantee.

5. Human oversight

KMC may use human review and administrative controls alongside automated systems.

Where an AI output could materially affect recruitment activity, KMC may review relevant information before taking action where appropriate.

6. Privacy

KMC will consider privacy requirements before using personal information with AI systems.

KMC will seek to avoid providing unnecessary personal information to AI systems.

KMC will not intentionally use confidential or sensitive information with an AI provider unless the use has been appropriately assessed and authorised.

7. No sensitive information requirement

Users should not enter unnecessary sensitive personal information into KMC's AI tools.

This includes passwords, financial account credentials, identity-document numbers and other information that is not necessary for the requested service.

8. External AI providers

Where KMC uses third-party AI technology, information may be processed by that provider subject to the relevant contractual, technical and privacy arrangements.

KMC will assess privacy risks associated with the use of AI systems involving personal information.

9. AI and regulatory compliance

KMC will review its AI practices as technology and applicable law develop.

KMC may conduct privacy assessments before introducing new AI systems that process personal information.

10. User responsibility

Users should not rely solely on AI-generated information for decisions involving:

  • professional registration;

  • immigration;

  • employment eligibility;

  • legal rights;

  • medical decisions;

  • financial decisions.
